There is a great deal of controversy surrounding satisfaction with the latest Hollywood epic film "Noah" among Christina movie fans. Paramount insiders rejected the results of a recent survey by Faith Driven Consumer that 98 percent of the Christians who took part in the research to be unhappy with the feature film. Instead, the company pointed towards other surveys that showed more than 80 percent of religious moviegoers would recommend "Noah" to friends.

Faith Driven Consumer conducted the research online with 5,000 responses. However, the survey hinted in its question towards consumers that there may be controversy concerning the actual biblical account of Noah's Ark, and the Hollywood re-telling. There have, in fact been a considerable amount of debate concerning this issue.

The main thing that many Christians pointed out was the recreation of the protagonist, Noah (played by Russell Crowe). Viewers thought that his personality seems somewhat inaccurate; that he is depicted as too intense and dark in the motion picture.

Rob Moore, the Vice Chair of Paramount who claims to be a "devout Christian" expressed that the majority of the Christian community would embrace the Hollywood version of the story. He explained that there is very little account of Noah's character and personality in the book of Genesis, and that the Noah's Ark story has much more room for filmmakers to fill in the gap than other accounts such as "Son of God".

In short, Paramount suggested that the core of the story from Genesis was well-delivered through "Noah" - that he was a man of faith and obeyed the Word of God.
