With the onset of the awards' season, one of the most sought after accolades to be bestowed on actors and actresses is the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) title. In an announcement made by 'Fault In Our Stars' actor, Ansel Elgort, and 'Desperate Housewives' star, Eva Longoria, the nominees for the 21st annual SAG Awards have been revealed.
Apart from recognizing the winners during the event, the SAG Life Achievement Award will be bestowed on Debbie Reynolds. This honor is given to "an established performer for fostering the highest ideals of the acting profession and tributes to the varied talents within SAG-AFTRA's membership."
The winners of the SAG awards will be revealed on January 25 at around 5 in the afternoon (PST) via TBS and TNT. The ceremony will be held in the Shrine Exposition Hall located in Los Angeles.
The SAG Awards are given by the Screen Actors Guild?American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). The accolades are granted to the individuals who performed notably in their crafts. The titles awarded during this event cover both film and primetime television stars. It has been one of the highly anticipated awards since its establishment in 1995.
