On Monday, Najib Razak, the Prime Minister of Malaysia announced that the missing Malaysian airliner, flight MH307, ended its flight in the middle of the Indian Ocean, a remote location that was too far away from any landing site. The announcement removed any small hope of finding the missing flight or any possible survivors.
CNN reported that Prime Minister Razak also talked about some new information provided by the British Air Accidents Investigation Branch and the British satellite company Inmarsat. The Prime Minister had this to say, "This evening I was briefed by representatives from the U.K. Air Accident investigation branch, or AAIB. They inform me that Inmarsat, the U.K. company that provided the satellite data which indicated northern and southern corridors, has been performing further calculations on the data, using a type of analysis never before used in an investigation of this sort," he said.
Based on this new information, Prime Minister Razak had to officially announce flight MH 370 lost, along with all 239 passengers and crew personnel. Following the statement was a request for all the press to show respect for the grieving families of those who were lost.
This was indeed a grieve moment for the families of the lost passengers and crew of flight MH 370.
