Golden Globe Awards 2015: Great Moments on Sunday Night

Golden Globes

Hollywood is once again abuzz with what and who conquered the 72nd Golden Globes Award. There were those who stole the show, and a few who, apparently were not entertained and bored to their wits. In case you have missed it, here are some events that ruled the show.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler

The funny women have once again conquered the Golden Globe stage for the third year in a row. It looks like Hollywood has not gotten tired of the duo's wit. Poehler was dressed in a comfy, cobalt blue gown by none other than Stella MCartney, complete with Baladora jewelry to match her classy, yet simple ensemble.

Fey was a stunner in her bejeweled black and white Antonio Berardi strapless gown, that she matched with Platinum ring and earrings.

Spectators were entertained by the duo, but many were saddened to know that it will be the duo's last time to host the show.

Gina Rodriguez

The TV series star won her first Golden Globe award, beating tight competitors such as Lena Dunham and Julia Louis Dreyfus. Rodriguez took home the Best Performance of an Actress in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical award.

The 30-year old TV star also gave a heartwarming speech, and started it by thanking God for making her an artist. Rodriguez thanked the production crew and her parents, especially her father, who instilled in her that she "can and will."

Kevin Spacey bags the Best Actor Award After Eight Nominations

House of Cards' star Kevin Spacey proved his acting skills did not take the back seat and bagged the Best Actor in a drama series.  "This is the eighth time I've been nominated," Spacey said in his speech. It was a good night indeed for the actor.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum

The stars did not end the night after the show, as the after party proved to be something worth seeing (and attending). All praises were on Channing as he picked up his wife's gown's trail when the floor got wet from the rain, proving chivalry is not dead. The couple also enjoyed a dance off at the Golden Globes after party.
