Clint Eastwood is not the only one who is overjoyed about the success of "American Sniper." Wife of Chris Kyle, Taya Kyle, is also overwhelmed by the success of the film.
"I also just want to cry and cry and honestly have today. I think that's what happens when I don't have the words. The only thing I can say is thank you. Thank you for the love and support of our military. Thank you for being willing to watch the hard stuff and thank you for hearing, seeing, experiencing the life of our military and first responders," Taya posted on Facebook last Sunday.
Taya also thanked American Sniper author Jim DeFelice, for taking them to where they are now.
Mrs. Kyle also wrote a message for her husband, saying she misses him and she knows that he is with her. Taya called her departed husband the love of her life, partner, friend and someone who had laughed with her through pain. According to Taya, she and her husband found joy "in the smallest and best parts of life."
The American Sniper widow also extended her gratitude to those who communicated with their family and has shown their support by watching the movie.
"It gives me strength and hope for the future. I am praying that God works through all of us and that you all are blessed in return for the tremendous blessings you are giving our military and police who take care of us every day," Taya wrote. She ended her post saying, "United We Stand."
