Bobbi Kristina Brown's Condition May Be Bleak: Report

After releasing a statement earlier that Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition is already "stable," a latest update said that her condition is "bleak."

"The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, is accurate. No additional information will be forthcoming. Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time," Attorney Christopher Brown, Bobby Brown's legal counsel, said in a statement.

According to TMZ, Brown has "significantly diminished" brain function. Brown's family is very concerned, but is not losing hope.

"There's people who want to say it's bleak, but there shouldn't be any rush," Sammy Tawil, a close family friend to the Browns said.

"The family is concerned, but they're hopeful. She's a fighter. She's a lot like her mom," he added.

After being found unresponsive in her Roswell home last Saturday, reports confirmed that late singer Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, is now in a medically induced coma.

The 21-year old was found face down in the bathtub and unresponsive at their Roswell home by her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend. Brown was brought to North Fulton hospital after 911 responded to the emergency call. Brown was then placed on a ventilator.

According to reports, Gordon performed CPR after they found Brown. Local police then took over the CPR and first aid measures upon their arrival. Four people were inside the Gordon residence when the incident took place.

The RnB singer was also having a difficult time, according to reports.

"It's been a difficult time for Bobbi Kristina, who's struggled in the years after her mother's death," a source told People.

The tragic incident happened just several days shy of her mother's third death anniversary on Feb. 11.

"The loss of her mom and her intense craving for attention of any sort are just the tip of her mountain of issues," the source adds.
