'The Big Bang Theory' Season 8 Episode 13 Spoiler: Sheldon And Leonard Battle Internet Trolls

The thirteenth episode of The Big Bang Theory's eighth season will feature Sheldon Cooper, played by Jim Parsons, and Leonard Hofstadter, portrayed by Johnny Galecki, battling Internet trolls who aggressively post rude and negative comments online in connection with a physics paper the pair co-published on the Internet, as reported by an article from Cartermatt.com.

The episode, which will be aptly called "The Troll Manifestation," will focus on the measures taken by both Sheldon and Leonard to respond to the Internet trolls who ceaselessly and actively took turns to bash and harshly criticize the concepts of their published work.

Although the duo have been battling bullies almost all their lives, the latest plot will still provide a fresh perspective as it marks the first time that they encounter cyber bullies.

Meanwhile, the three ladies on the show will be going on an all-girls bonding session, leaving the men to deal with the online bashers and bullies. Penny, played by Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting; Amy, portrayed by Mayim Bialik; and Bernadette, represented by Melissa Rauch, will be hanging out throughout the episode -- an activity that will later on evolve into a big tell-all bonding.

The night will eventually reveal embarrassing moments of the ladies such as getting absolutely hooked up with fan fiction, awful taste in movies, and participation in beauty pageants during their younger years.

The show has won several Emmy awards, including Best Actor for Parsons' role. In earlier interviews, numerous factors were identified to contribute to their success. However, Parsons mainly attributed the show's spectacular run and continuing success to the writer, Chuck Lorre.

"Chuck was a musician before he was a writer, and one thing all of these shows have in common is a rhythm. These shows [perform strongly when in repeats]. You've seen them three times, but it's like a pop song - it's got rhythm. He'll come in when were rehearsing and clean it up."

Apart from The Big Bang Theory, Lorre has served as the creator and writer for various hit television series. These achievements include the small screen shows Mom, Two and a Half Men, Mike & Molly, Dharma & Greg, Grace Under Fire, My Two Dads, and Roseanne.

The Troll Manifestation will be aired in CBS on February 5, 2015.
