Although the impending end of CSI: Las Vegas Season 15 is nearing, fans of the show may be more concerned about the future of George Eads, who plays Nick Stokes. In a report from Cartermatt.com, CBS all but directly announced that the actor is exiting the show in the synopsis provided by the network.
The first episode of the season finale, which is titled "Under My Skin," the CSI team looks into the connection between a murder case they currently handle and the kidnapping of two girls in their teenage years.
The guest actress in this episode will be Lisa Rinna, who earlier appeared in numerous television series such as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Days of Our Lives," "Melrose Place," and "Veronica Mars." She will be playing the character Tori Nolan, who is the wife of the director of the "San Diego Crime Lab."
CBS described the subsequent episode, which is called "The End Game," as the "final showdown" between the investigators and the culprit labeled as the Gig Harbor murderer. In addition, this episode will finally disclose the driving force behind the killer's crimes.
On a more personal aspect of the show, Nick Stokes is expected to announce a decision in "The End Game" that would potentially affect the whole group's direction going forward from their latest case. In an earlier story linked to the finale of this season, TV Guide hinted that "a cast member who has been a part of the show since Season 1 will become a victim of the Gig Harbor Killer in the Season 15 finale."
The guest stars for this final episode will be Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Paul Winthrop, Eric Anthony Roberts as Daniel Larson, and Mark Valley as Detective Daniel Show.
Gosselaar's earlier appearances in the small screen include roles in "Franklin & Bash," "Men at Work," "Happy Endings," and "Raising the Bar." As for Valley, he has been well known for his parts in "Hot in Cleveland," "Stuttgart Homicide," "Body of Proof," "Harry's Law," and "Fringe."
Meanwhile, Roberts has been hailed as one of the most resilient actors in Hollywood today. As the brother of "Pretty Woman" star Julia Roberts, he has made a name for himself through landing memorable roles in various television series and movies such as Suits, Glee, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, and Heroes.
His latest big screen projects for 2015 include "Past Due," "The Unwanted," "The Private Eye," "A Fatal Obsession," and "Miracle Underground."
Both episodes, "Under My Skin" and "The End Game," will air back to back to mark the conclusion of the season on February 15, 2015.
