Ubisoft announced that "Assassin's Creed Rogue" for PC will be released on March 10, according to Gamespot.
The game developer also detailed the PC version's eye-tracking feature as well as the game's basic system requirements.
"Assassin's Creed Rogue" was first released in November of last year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles.
Following the events of 2013's "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag," the game follows protagonist Shay Patrick Cormac, an assassin, during the 18th century's Seven Years War. "Rogue" takes players across various locations in North America.
Although PC gamers will be able to get their hands on "Rogue" a few months after it was released for the PlayStation and Xbox consoles, they will enjoy it through a different gameplay experience.
As part of the game's system requirements, PC players will have to get the Sentry Eye Tracker from SteelSeries. Using Sentry's Tobii eye-tracking system, players can control where their character looks through their eye movements.
This means when the player looks at a certain part of the screen, the character will also do the same.
According to Corneliu Vasiliu, this feature enhances the overall game play experience. For example, players can make their characters throw an object or weapon in the direction they are looking at while shooting at a different part of the screen using the game's traditional controls.
"We recognize the power of eye tracking early and were quick to work with Tobii to create a completely new way to experience a game," Vasiliu said in a statement. "We are really proud of the result with 'Assassin's Creed Rogue.'"
As for the game's system requirements, players are recommended to run the game with an upgraded PC, PC Gamer reported. Below are the requirements for the game's PC version.
