Marcus Mariota, the 2014 Heisman Trophy recipient and former collegiate quarterback for the University of Oregon's Ducks, appeared before the press during the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine to answer questions regarding which team he would like to join.

Although the sought-after athlete did not provide a specific answer, he spoke about two professional teams in the league that he is currently connected to, according to Oregon Live.

Mariota played for the Ducks as its starting quarterback from 2012 to 2014. During his time with the university, he led the team to 36 wins and made a total of 105 touchdown passes.

Although his last game with the Ducks resulted in a loss against Ohio State for the national championship and an AC joint injury to his shoulder, he is still regarded as one of the top athletes in college football. Because of this, there has been a lot of speculation as to which team he will end up playing for.

One of the teams being associated to Mariota is the Cleveland Browns since he's been working closely with Kevin O'Connell, the current quarterbacks offensive coach of the team. But even though Mariota said he would love to join the Browns, he still can't make an official choice regarding his career in the league, Yahoo Sports reported.

"That would [be] an awesome opportunity," he told the press. "I'd love to play for the Browns. For right now, you can't really control those things, so I try not to worry about them."

Another team that Mariota is considering is the Philadelphia Eagles. Although the team holds 20th pick in the draft selections, the young athlete has a close relationship with the Eagles coach Chip Kelly.

Although the two haven't personally met yet, it was Kelly who recruited Mariota for the Oregon and helped build his collegiate athletic career.

"That would be a fun opportunity," Mariota said about heading over to the Eagles. "But again, this process is out of our hands, out of our control, and we'll see what happens."

Currently, only speculations can be made as to which team Mariota will join. Sports fans will have to wait until April of this year to see which team he will be playing for.
