The upcoming episode of the NCIS team, titled Blast from the Past, will hit closer to home as the identity of the victim of the crime turns out to be the exact same persona taken over by Leroy Jethro Gibbs, played by Mark Harmon, in one of his earlier missions, according to Examiner.com.

As discussed in an earlier report, Gibbs is speculated to possibly be getting framed due to the connection between him and the dead victim. In the sneak peek given by CBS, the initial examination of the body was conducted by Anthony DiNozzo, portrayed by Michael Weatherly, and Eleanor Bishop, played by Emily Wickersham.

At first, it appeared to be yet another case for the team to solve. When Bishop revealed the name of the victim, however, Gibbs looks evidently stunned. He then recited the exact date of birth of the lifeless casualty, which visibly both impressed and puzzled the team.

Gibbs then disbelievingly approached the agent and looked at the ID of the victim, which revealed exactly what he suspected. The man bore the same name and other relevant information as the identity assigned to him 20 years ago. This prompted him to order one of the agents to call the concerned authorities regarding the fact that NCIS will now take over the case.

On a lighter note, the team is shown discussing various movies. In one scene, DiNozzo looks astounded and disappointed on the reaction of Bishop after she watched Top Gun. Apart from his apparent disapproval of her waiting for so long before watching Tom Cruise's iconic film, DiNozzo gets a bit carried away by the fact that the female agent did not even shed a tear when she finished the movie.

Thrown into the mix of films discussed is Disney's blockbuster hit, Frozen, which Bishop claims to not appreciated so much as she only got to watch half of the movie. Needless to say, this discussion will render fans craving for more DiNozzo-Bishop arguments.

Also, Gibbs' reaction to Timothy McGee's, Sean Murray, tutorial on the navigation system of the former's new smart phone will definitely delight fans of the show. As it has been a public knowledge that Gibbs and technology do not mix well, the smart phone's plight came as no surprise. It appears that the NCIS leader might stick to good old fashioned maps after all.

Blast from the Past will air on February 24, 2015.
