You know it's no good news when someone says, "Kanye just pulled a Kanye." But the Internet and the rest of the world were in shock after Kim Kardashian's better half apologized to Beck and Bruno Mars for his untoward behavior.
"I would like to publicly apologize to Beck. I'm sorry Beck," West brought his good side on Twitter.
And if that wasn't enough:
"I also want to publicly apologize to Bruno Mars, I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist."
And a follow up for Bruno Mars: "I also would love for Bruno to sing this hook on this song 88 Keys / Puff and I produced. I even asked Tyler to shoot the vid."
Netizens were surprised and many praised West for his public apology. But of course, like Taylor Swift's song goes, "haters gonna hate."
West had interrupted Beck when he was about to deliver his acceptance speech during the 57th Grammy Awards. Beck bagged the much coveted Album of the Year award, which disappointed North's dad. Many thought that West was just trying to be funny since he didn't say anything and just smiled when he was on stage, but he later told the media that Beyonce should have won the award instead of Beck.
West even asked Beck to give his award to Beyonce, and that he needed to "respect artistry." And as expected, many hated the way West disrespected another artist on stage.
Kanye also admitted that he used to hate "Treasure" singer Bruno Mars, but did not say why. He had previously stated his "disappointment" over Mars and Drake's performance, and used explicit words in doing so.
West brole down during an interview on Radio 1's Zane Lowe, and said that his actions were brought about by the "voices inside his head."
He also got very emotional when he talked about Louise Wilson, whom he calls the "greatest fashion instructor of all time. Wilson passed away in May 2014. There are no reports yet as to how Bruno Mars or Beck has reacted to Kanye West's public apology.
