‘LEGO Jurassic World’ Gameplay Trailer Shakes Up Famous Scenes From Film Series [Video]

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment had just released the first gameplay trailer for its upcoming video game "LEGO Jurassic World," according to Polygon.

Based on the trailer, the game follows the story of the four "Jurassic Park" films including the upcoming "Jurassic World" starring Chris Pratt.

Since the game is also based on the works of author Michael Crichton, the trailer shows some of the most memorable scenes from the film but with a humorous LEGO twist.

One of the scenes recreated in the game is the part in the first "Jurassic Park" film where the park's game warden Robert Muldoon, played by Bob Peck, and Laura Dern's Dr. Ellie Sattler are attempting to restore the facility's power.

As the two crossed the open area of the facility, Muldoon stayed behind to distract the roaming raptor. In the film, Muldoon was outsmarted by the dinosaurs and was mauled to death.

However, in the LEGO game, a raptor with fruits on its head simply used a banana to disarm Muldoon. The character even uttered his famous line, "Clever girl," in the game's trailer.

Aside from scenes, the "LEGO Jurassic" world also features main characters from the film franchise such Jeff Goldblum's Dr. Ian Malcolm, Sam Neill's Dr. Alan Grant and Richard Attenborough's John Hammond, the CEO of InGen.

"LEGO Jurassic World," which was developed by Warner Bros. subsidiary Traveller's Tales, will hit the market sometime in June of this year. It will be available for the PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U platforms.

The game will be released around the same time as the "Jurassic World" film, which is slated to premiere on June 12, 2015.

Aside from the dinosaur-themed game, Traveller's Tales is also working on the LEGO version of "Marvel's Avengers," Game Spot reported. The game, titled "LEGO Marvel Avengers," follows the plotlines of the films "The Avengers" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and will be released in the third quarter of 2015.
