It appears that the typical family concerns affect the Duggar family as well as recent news featuring the stars of the reality show, 19 Kids And Counting, revealed that some sisters are secretly thankful for the marriage between Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald as the former finally moved out of the house, according to Fashion & Style.
Apparently, Jessa has been dubbed as the "mean sister" by her younger siblings and the latter sometimes tremble in fear when they have to meet with the recently married Duggar. The report revealed that the reputation of Jessa as strict and stern began when Michelle Duggar, the mother of the brood, started to train their older children to assist in the education of the younger siblings.
In adherence to her mother's instructions, Jessa quickly took it upon herself to teach and manage the younger Duggar children. Since her mother made the decision to home-school the entire brood when Josh, their first born child, was just eight months old, she has been continuously seeking assistance from the older and more experienced children to make sure that everyone gets the proper education they need. Hence, Jessa's way of pitching in to the responsibilities include monitoring the younger ones' grades and ensuring that they complete their assigned school work.
"Jessa's name struck fear in the hearts of the younger kids," the report went on to describe the strictness of the older Duggar sister. "Hearing their older sister's name became a way to instill fear in the children to do what was expected of them, for they knew Jessa would make them toe the line when necessary," it further said.
Meanwhile, the firstborn Duggar child shared that his sister "will tell you exactly what she's thinking whether you want to hear it or not." Josh also said that Jessa "will stand up to you and she always has an opinion, and she's always gonna express it."
"It's all or nothing with Jessa, She puts her whole heart into it. If she knows this is the path, this is the way, the best thing to do, the right thing to do, she will just jump," Michelle disclosed.
