Justin Bieber fans can finally look forward to some good news involving their idol as the Canadian singer recently went back into performing on stage, according to The Hamilton Spectator. The audience during the Honeymoon tour of Ariana Grande on Saturday in American Airlines Arena were treated with a pleasant surprise as Bieber unexpectedly went on stage to perform with the former Disney star.
Singing Love Me Harder, the duo serenaded the viewers who were thrilled to have both hit makers in front of them for the first time. The performance, however, took another unanticipated turn as Bieber forgot the lyrics to the song. His faux pas was immediately remedied by the brunette star as she saved the performance by taking over the song, then smoothly transitioning to the other hits popularized by the now-blond pop star such as All That Matters and As Long As You Love Me.
After the performance, Bieber immediately addressed those in attendance saying, "I feel a little bad, I forgot the words. Ariana, I've been trying to memorize it backstage for like an hour." While giving Big Sean's love interest a hug, the controversial artist asked the audience if they couldn "forgive" him for "forgetting the words." He also added, "I feel terrible."
The crowd eventually forgot the entire lyrical fiasco as the two eventually gave them a memorable show. Despite the success of his return to the spotlight, Bieber still could not let go of his recent mistake. "Had fun with u Ariana, even tho I forgot all the words haha (sic)," the Baby singer posted in Instagram. The mistake, however, was taken by the petite pop star in stride as she posted, "thank u miami babes and thank u @justinbieber!!!!!! (sic)."
Meanwhile, an exclusive interview with Hollywood Life revealed that Bieber's surprise appearance in Ariana's concert was Scooter Braun's doing. The source shared that the manager, who handles both artists, "wanted to get Justin back out on stage because he wanted him to reconnect with his fan base."
With the recent posts of Bieber in his social media accounts, it appears that Braun succeeded. After the performance, he posted, "Thank you @ArianaGrande and thank you Miami. I missed the stage. See u soon ;)"
