Fans and followers of the hit television series, The Big Bang Theory, will be delighted to find out that a fresh and exciting episode awaits them on April 2 following the two-week short break taken by the show, according to International Business Times.

The episode, titled The Skywalker Incursion, will feature the adventures of main stars Sheldon Cooper, played by multi-awarded actor Jim Parsons, and Leonard Hofstadter, portrayed by Johnny Galecki, as they strive to meet one of their idols, George Lucas.

"When Leonard and Sheldon are invited to speak at UC Berkeley, they take a detour to try to meet an idol," the official synopsis for Episode 19 of Season 8 revealed.

On their way to the said convention, Sheldon and Leonard realized that they both have quite a lot of free time before the event actually begins. Hence, the duo decided to embark on a journey to meet Lucas before heading to their main destination. Given the popularity and fame of the Star Wars director, the pair are well aware of the difficulty in accomplishing this task. Needless to say, plotting and hilarious antics ensued to reach this goal.

They first took the direct approach as Sheldon and Leonard simply drove to the gate of the famed celebrity and asked for him to let them in as they are his biggest fans. In an effort to convince Lucas that they are perfectly respectable gentlemen who merely admire his works, the two clarified that they are not the "crazy" type of fans who would tie him up and kidnap him. This appeared to have appeased Lucas' fears of possibly getting harassed by ruthless admirers and decided to buzz both scientists in.

This fueled the excitement of Sheldon who claimed that they now conquered the "first quest." However, Leonard was quick to point out that they were simply trying to meet Lucas and "not slay a dragon." The latter's realistic perception of the task at hand failed to dampen the spirit of the former as Sheldon even felt the need for a backup plan in case the guards refuse to let them in, which included inflicting a minor injury to Leonard getting "gently stabbed."

Meanwhile, Howard Wolowitz, played by Simon Helberg, and his wife Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz, portrayed by Melissa Rauch, are engaged in an argument over the fate of the TARDIS owned by the former. In a nutshell, Bernadette wants it out of the house while Howard stubbornly clings to it. This prompted the couple to settle the debate through a table tennis match, which later on involved the rest of the cast.
