Jill Dillard's due date has already passed but the reality star continues to make time for her commitments despite the late arrival of her firstborn child.
While the mother-to-be and her husband, Derick Dillard, have been expecting the birth of their son since March 24, volunteering has become an option for the couple while waiting for the baby's arrival.
Together with her husband and friends, Jill took some time to volunteer at a thrift store not too far from her home in Springdale, Arkansas last Saturday.
The 23-year-old reality TV star posted a photo as she worked in the store, sharing the caption "Volunteering at the Compassion Center this morning in Springdale, AR. @compassionnwa #compassioncenter."
The Compassion Center is known to be a Christian organization that offers support for the needy and unfortunate in the Little Rock area.
Jill is the first daughter of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar to get married; their entire family is featured in their own family show "19 Kids and Counting' that airs on TLC.
The first-time mother, who is a midwife herself, first revealed her pregnancy two months after she married Derick in June 2014.
In an interview with People Magazine, Jill mentioned that she was "planning on the baby coming late" and that their baby will "come when [he] comes."
Earlier this month, Jill shared that she and her spouse have been making the necessary preparations to welcome the baby's arrival; these include Bradley Method birth classes to teach the couple in understanding the processes involved in childbirth delivery.
"Derick will be my coach, as I like to say, so [he'll be] helping me through the process," Jill shared.
The reality TV star is equipped with the necessary knowledge in using breathing and relaxation techniques to handle pains during the delivery of the child as opposed to drug or epidural use.
The Christian couple previously talked about their openness to creating a big family and having more children in the future.
"We're open to as many children as God will give us," Duggar shared in an interview with People. "We believe children are a blessing from the Lord and a gift from him.""
The show, 19 Kids and Counting, airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. on TLC.
