Vin Diesel cemented his name, handprints, and footprints at Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX on Wednesday, April 1. Diesel is an actor and filmmaker. His most recent work is "Furious 7,' the last of the Fast and the Furious movie series.
Diesel's family, friends and cast members of "Furious 7' were all present at the ceremony. His six-year-old daughter Hania got to imprint her fingerprint on the wet cement alongside her father's at the Forecourt to the Stars. The Forecourt is the area in front of the Chinese Theatre's entrance.
The TCL Chinese Theatre is on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Marilyn Monroe, Tom Hanks, and Robert de Niro are among the legendary movie stars who have their names and prints there. Since it began in 1920, nearly 200 celebrities have made imprints in the cement.
Diesel has received the Online Film Critics Society Award, MTV Movie Awards, and Cinema Con Award in his acting career. He has also received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award, People's Choice Awards, and Teen Choice Awards.
He made his first on-screen debut in 1990 in the movie entitled, 'Awakenings.' The actor is known for his roles in "Saving Private Ryan,' "The Chronicles of Riddick,' and "The Fast and the Furious' series. Diesel is currently working on "The Last Witch Hunter.'
Diesel, whose real name is Mark Sinclair has three children with girlfriend Paloma Jimenez. In March 2015, Diesel named his newborn daughter Pauline after the late actor Paul Walker.
