The South Korean tech company LG is preparing to unveil its latest smartphone, the LG G4 at an event happening on April 28 in New York City.
To promote the upcoming device, LG even released a "First Look" video highlighting the G4's camera features, according to BGR.
The clip doesn't show the actual device but instead shows what its camera can do. The 43-second video then ended with LG's "See the great, feel the great" motto for the G4.
Based on recent rumors, the upcoming smartphone will sport a 16-megapixel rear camera equipped with laser focus technology. On the front side, the G4 will have a 5.5-inch screen and a 2,560x1,440p Quad HD LCD display, CNET reported.
Leaked images of the device suggest that the G4 will look like a hybrid of LG's G3 and G Flex 2 devices. It will also be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and will have 3GB of RAM.
As for its operating system, LG is expected to unveil its latest hardware through the G4. The UX 4.0 will reportedly make the device more user-friendly and will include various customization features for the G4's apps and settings.
In preparation for the unveil of the G4, LG announced a new program that will let 4,000 lucky people to test the company's latest smartphone for a couple of weeks before it officially debuts in stores.
Although details of the test program are still unclear, LG aims to create a huge buzz for the G4 through potential participants who would like to get their hands on the device.
"Customers are our best fans and we think this would be an exciting and unique way to get our most important mobile product of the year close to the public," the president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, Juno Cho said in a statement according to CNET.
