British singer Zayn Malik further distanced himself from boy band One Direction as he dropped "1D" from his Twitter ID. The breakup is now Twitter official. He removed all One Direction references from his biography on Thursday, April 30. After the profile update, Malik tweeted a mysterious message to fans.
"Is speech an extension to our thoughts or an image that we like to create x," Malik queried on Thursday, April 30.
His Twitter ID used to be "ZaynMalik1D," but now it is simply "ZaynMalik." The 22-year-old also removed a hyperlink to One Direction's official website. He erased a quote that read "Just close your eyes and enjoy the roller coaster that is life :) x" on his biography. Everything has been simplified to one word, "england."
Malik has made a significant number of life changes in the past two months, receiving criticism and statements from the media, fans, former bandmates and even Stephen Hawking. He quit One Direction, a band he has been with for half a decade. Malik shaved off his beautiful dark brown hair, the same hair that made several media headlines and that even has its own Twitter fan page devoted to it. He also recorded a new solo demo with Naughty Boy. The Twitter account change is the icing on the cake for his new solo image.
Lyrics to "I Won't Mind' from Metrolyrics:
"Don't look around cause
Love is blind
And darling right now
I can't see you
I'm feeling proud,
So without a doubt,
I can feel you
Cause we are who we are,
When no ones watching
And right from the start,
You know I got you"
