"Who is this impostor freewheeling around, abandoning all her stupid rules, acting all fun to be around and looking positively radiant?" asks Tandy to his friends.
Tandy decides that he wants Carol back in his life. He tries to woo her with flowers and jewelry. She is unconvinced. Tandy tells her that he wrote a song for her. Before he can sing it, Phil storms in and tells them that he is working on bringing electricity to the community. The group meets as Phil debuts a lamp he has managed to light with the use of solar panels. Everyone is amazed until Tandy knocks down the lamp.
The group decides that Tandy has to go. Tandy runs away and locks himself inside a room. He survives by eating toilet paper and toothpaste for three days.
