Zayn Malik's departure from One Direction continues to break hearts as British boy band The Vamps decide to sing about it in a parody of their cover single, "Oh Cecilia." The lyrics reflect the heartbreak over Malik's decision to leave 1D. It also highlights some of Malik's recent career moves. They performed the song live on BBC Radio 1 on Sunday, May 3.

"Zayn Malik, you're breaking my heart. You've left Louis, Liam, Niall, and Harry," sings the Vamps. "I turn my laptop on, One Direction look wrong. Why would you do this for me?" continues the boy band.

Malik is a 22-year-old male singer and former vocalist of the British boy band One Direction. Malik left the band's world tour in March 2015. Soon afterwards, Malik officially quit the band. Since quitting the band, he has shaved off his long black hair, changed his Twitter description and ID, and released a demo entitled, "I Won't Mind," featuring DJ Naughty Boy.

The Vamps are a band of four members. Its members are Brad Simpson on lead vocals and guitar, Tristan Evans on drums and vocals, James McVey on lead guitar and vocals, and Connor Ball on bass guitar and vocals. They reached fame with Youtube videos featuring the members singing cover songs. The Vamps signed with a recording company in 2012.
