Amy believes her five-year relationship with Sheldon is at a stand-still as they have yet to move forward. Sheldon tests her limits when he seems to be more interested in "The Flash,' a superhero television series rather than celebrate their fifth anniversary. Sheldon, asks Penny and Leonard why Amy is mad at him. When Penny points out that the other couple has not gone further than kissing in the half a decade they have been dating, Sheldon still does not get the point. Sheldon instead points out a fault in Leonard and Penny's relationship by asking why they have not gotten married yet. Sheldon becomes confused when Amy tells him that she needs time, not knowing that Sheldon was getting ready to pop the big question she has been waiting for.
Sheldon's comments raises up questions in Leonard and Penny's relationship status. The couple is engaged but have no actual plans on getting married. They share ideas on releasing butterflies at the wedding and other minor details but do not set a date. Leonard and Penny scrap their ideas and instead decide to elope in Las Vegas. Leonard confesses to Penny that he kissed another woman on a boat two years ago. Penny decides to forgive him.
Howard and Bernadette have been trying to get rid of Stuart for months, but have always found an excuse not to. Whenever they planned on asking Stuart to move out, it was the holidays or Stuart was re-opening his comic book shop. Howard and Bernadette determine to ask Stuart to get out of their home, but then cannot when they realize it is Stuart's birthday.
Emily is one of the most beautiful women Raj has ever dated. Yet day-by-day he is realizing that she is not the woman he thought she was. Emily's fascination with skulls and the dead, creeps Raj out. He asks his friends for advice when Emily wants to have a date in a graveyard. Raj reluctantly agrees to Emily because he has a fear of being single and lonely. Emily and Raj picnic on a grave. Raj gets ready to break up with Emily because of her morbid tastes, but instead tells her that he loves her.
