Bucky Barnes' Winter Soldier is back for Marvel's next big offering Captain America: Civil War, which stars Chris Evans.
The 2016 film has already guaranteed a lot of popular cameos, including Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark also known as Iron Man and the web-slinging Spider-Man, still Peter Parker, who has remained uncast to this day.
Even Scarlett Johansen's Natasha Romanoff, otherwise known as Black Widow will be there, as well as Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye, Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany's Vision, and Paul Rudd's Ant-Man, among many others.
But now, actor Sebastian Stan's Bucky is the most talked-about cameo in Captain America: Civil War since he shared a mysterious photo on his Instagram account with the simple caption, "Having A Weekend!"
The movie to be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo is sure to deliver one dramatic story for Marvel fans, since Bucky has some gripes with a lot of characters.
Captain America and Anthony Mackie's Falcon might be searching for the confused Bucky, who remains unaware of his true identity, but they are not the only ones looking for him.
There's a huge possibility that Tony Stark will be going after him too, since his character might have been responsible for the deaths of Stark's parents. Given the billionaire's personality, it's a safe bet that he will be out looking for redemption (and some answers!)
Plus, in the comic books, Bucky shares a relationship with the Black Widow so it would be interesting to see how this will develop in the film (if it even does). Bucky even takes on the role of Captain America for a while, under the condition that Stark eliminates giving him subliminal commands and gives him complete autonomy as the superhero. But since autonomy is in violation of the Superhuman Registration Act, Stark keeps their agreement a secret.
The ambiguous plot for the movie goes: "Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain."
The screenplay for Captain America: Civil War will be written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, with music by Henry Jackman and cinematography by Trent Opaloch.
