Last week, Stephen Amell made an appearance on WWE and had several squabbles with a professional wrestler named Stardust. As such incident sparked up rumors of huge plans for the dedicated wrestling fan, the "Arrow' actor is expected to be in a match at the SummerSlam this year.
Recently, it was reported that WWE is planning to create a program between Amell andf Stardust. The 34-year-old actor already clarified that he prefers to host the show on several occasions.
A number of entertainment websites have weighed in on the issue, including Hollywood Life which claimed that: "Steven is looking to get in the ring for the WWE and the match looks like it will take place at SummerSlam in NYC."
The website added that both WWE and Amell are yet to make a decision if the actor should wrestle as himself or take on his Arrow character.
However, amidst huge rumors, Amell himself confirmed that he will not be appearing in the ring to have a wrestling match with Stardust.
The actor took to social media to answer to these speculations and posted the following tweet: "Lots of rumors circulating that I'm fighting @StardustWWE at Summerslam. Not true. Cody wants no piece of me."
Meanwhile, the third season of "Arrow' has already wrapped up last month with its final episode titled "My Name Is Oliver Queen.'
While Oliver declares that he is finally happy in life, it remains a big question as to whether there will be huge changes in his character in season four.
Although no announcements from the show's producers were made, Amell stepped up to confirm one mind-boggling change in the upcoming season of "Arrow.'
"Arrow is done. No more Arrow suit. I've worn it for the last time," the actor said in an interview during the CW's Upfront presentation.
As the third season's finale has been met with mixed responses from fans, Amell shared that he and the rest of the "Arrow' team did look forward to such reactions, admitting that he is uncertain as to how the series will unfold in the new season.
"I was anticipating that there would be some happiness mixed with angst because coming out of each season I've known where our path was going. I have no idea what's happening in Season Four."
Nonetheless, DC fans who are waiting for announcements on "Arrow' season four can still anticipate another series based on the comic books as Amell makes an appearance one again with a bow in his hand in the newest clip for "Legends of Tomorrow.'
