Best in primetime television were awarded on Sunday, May 31 at the 2015 Critics' Choice TV Awards at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles, California. The show aired live on A&E. The 5th Annual Critics' Choice TV Awards were hosted by Cat Deeley from FOX's televised reality dancing competition "So You Think You Can Dance.' The red carpet preshow was hosted by Entertainment Tonight's (ET) Kevin Frazier and Samantha Harris.

The 2015 Critics' Choice TV Awards recognized the best work in TV from June 2014 to May 2015. Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), an offshoot of the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) began presenting the awards in 2011. The awards were produced by Bob Bain.
