Iggy Azalea is now officially engaged with boyfriend Nick Young. During the basketball player's 30th birthday celebration, he finally popped the question to the Australian singer, according to Sydney Morning Herald.
A video clip of the proposal has been making the round on the Internet. In the clip, Young could be seen going down on one knee and asking Azalea, "Will you marry me?" This question was met by cheers from the crowd of spectators - presumably the friends of the couple who attended the basketball player's birthday celebration. A stunned Azalea then responded with a resounding "Yes" and went on to wear her engagement ring. The said video was uploaded by Karen Civil via Twitter.

"Nick has known for a long time Iggy was the one for him, but he was just waiting on the perfect time to pop the question," an insider told E Online. "They both have gotten very close these past few months and he can't think of anyone else to spend his life with but her. One of the most important things about Iggy is the way she is to his son," the source added. One of the friends of the couple who witnessed the momentous event is Demi Lovato. The former Disney star then excitedly posted the good news on her Instagram account. "Could not be happier for this woman.. (And yes this was literally my face for about an hour) Still can't believe I got to witness that last night.. So happy for you both... Love you so much lady," Lovato wrote on her social media account on Tuesday. For her part, Azalea posted a picture of the engagement ring on Instagram with the caption, "Happiest Day #Isaidyes"

In an earlier report by People, Young shared that he is cooking up a surprise for his now fiancée on her birthday. He said, "Her birthday is coming up. I'm planning trips and everything." The NBA star added, "It's going to be a big surprise. I can't tell you anything. You'll see next week. We're doing everything." It appears, however, that Young decided to pull out the big guns during his own birthday celebration which Azalea herself organized.
While the proposal came as a surprise, the concept of marriage has always been on Young's mind. In an interview with DuJour Magazine, the NBA star revealed, "Growing up I always wanted to be married and have a family, and it's difficult. He then went on to say, "I ask them (his parents) every day how they do it. It's a process."
Even at that point, it appears that hints of possible marriage proposal in the horizon looked extremely clear. "Me and Iggy just bought a house," Young shared. "We've been getting really close lately. I've never been with somebody like this. So, I'm taking it as a challenge," he revealed.
