Despite playing a queen who tames dragons on "Game of Thrones,' it seems that Emilia Clarke, who portrays the mother of fiery creatures, can also injure herself with a stress fracture on her hip.
"I want to say it's from Parkour or something," thr 28-year-old actress said in an interview with BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw last Thursday. "Something really brilliant, like I'm trying to vault a wall, but in reality I just slipped."
The "Terminator: Genisys' star was photographed earlier this month as she hobbled using her crutches, and lightheartedly shared that she even gave them names.
"They're called Will and Ben, just so you know," Clarke said.
When asked about the terrible death of Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington, in the "Game of Thrones' season five finale, the actress told MTV that the showrunners of HBO's hit fantasy series do not necessarily trust her with the show's biggest secrets for the reason that she "can't lie very well." She also further stated that she "has no idea what's happening."
Although Clarke did not confirm that Jon is really gone from the series, this could give fans a small glimmer of hope.
Despite mere speculations regarding new characters in the sixth season of "Game of Thrones,' one thing is definite in the upcoming episodes and that is the presence of bigger dragons.
Daenerys' babies, who were given during her wedding, had been briefly shown in the fifth season and Joe Bauer, who works for the "Game of Thrones' visual effects department, confirmed that the fire-breathing creatures will certainly grow in size, "spanning 120ft from wingtip to wingtip."
It was also rumored that the upcoming sixth season will introduce a bigger batch of new characters that will bring the Dothraki back into the scene.
When one of Daenerys Targaryen's dragons, Drogon, had saved her from the attempt of the Sons of the Harpy to kill her off, the mother of the fiery creatures was surrounded by the largest riding army of Dothraki that was ever shown on the TV series.
Meanwhile, while waiting for details on "Game of Thrones' season six, Clarke continues to make public appearances for the premiere of the upcoming "Terminator: Genisys' film, which also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke and J.K. Simmons.
The actress admitted that she performed some of the stunts herself on the set of the sci-fi action movie.
"My driving is pretty reckless anyway, so the whole me crashing every single vehicle I got into was a bit apt," she joked. "It made sense."
"Terminator: Genysis' is set for an official premiere on July 1.
