New images have been released by Entertainment Weekly, showing off Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Effie Trinket as they possibly face the road to freedom in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 2.'
Last month, Lionsgate also unveiled a new trailer for the highly anticipated installment while Lawrence took to Facebook and shared a special photo with the caption: "6.9.15 #MockingjayPart2 #Unite."
Many details form the new clip have caught the attention of both book and movie fans. Wedding bells for Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin) and Annie Cresta (Stef Dawson) have been set after reuniting together, putting all missions on hold as the couple and their close friends enjoy themselves at a wartime marriage ceremony.
The new trailer also brings hope to fans of Katniss and Peeta as the duo are seen hugging it out, with Josh Hutcherson's character showing a healthier stature compared to the last time that he was rescued from the Capitol.
In one of the more recent posters for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 2,' more trouble could be in store for President Snow especially after Katniss and the Rebels take the essential preparations to wage a full-blown war with the government.
Katniss will be teamed with her closest friends, such as Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick, and Peeta, while going on their mission with the rest of the unit from District 13.
In their last stand against the terrifying leader, the upcoming film will show Katniss leading their team of rebels to arrest Snow while trying to survive and avoid getting ambushed. The Capitol transforms itself to a trap-filled ground, similar to that of the Games, filled with brutal soldiers and violent creatures.
Director Francis Lawrence has dropped hints about the upcoming "Mockingjay- Part 2' film; he believes that it is more action-packed and will be more reminiscent of a war movie as compared to the previous installment.
Meanwhile, other cast members who will be reprising their roles include Julianne Moore as President Coin, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch, Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket, Natalie Dormer as Cressida, Jeffrey Wright as Beetee and Willow Shields as Primrose Everdeen, among others.
New cast members have also signed on, such as "Game of Thrones' star Gwendoline Christie as Commander Lyme and "True Blood' actress Michelle Forbes as Lt. Jackson.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2' is set to hit 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D theaters on Nov. 20, 2015.
