Swiss player Stan Wawrinka defeated Belgian player David Goffin in the 4th Round at Wimbledon on Monday, July 6 at The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, England. Wawrinka scored 13 aces and a total of 118 points against Goffin, resulting in a 7-6, 7-6, 6-4 walk to the Quarterfinals.
He is a two-time Grand Slam winner. His most notorious and recent victory was at the clay courts of Roland Garros in June, when he defeated ATP's No. 1 player Novak Djokovic. Wawrinka and his plaid gray, red, and white Yonex shorts made headlines as he took home La Coupe des Mousquetaires. Back In 2014, he was eliminated in the Quarterfinals at Wimbledon.
