Despite numerous "Game of Thrones' fans still in denial of Jon Snow's death in the concluding episode of season five, actress Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, has shared her sentiments about her supposed half-brother meeting his unfortunate end.
Kit Harington, who plays Jon in the hit HBO fantasy drama series, previously confirmed that he will be exiting the show after his death.
"I'm dead. I'm not coming back next season. So that's all I can tell you, really," the 28-year-old actor said.
Despite Harington's statements as well as his well-loved character being stabbed multiple times and falling lifeless to the ground, fans have struggled with such circumstances and are persistent with theories that Jon could come back from the dead.
However, Williams has something in store for the fans that could cause more outbursts as the 18-year-old actress debunks the speculations relating to Jon's resurrection.
"I think people are trying to be very positive about this, like, "It's fine. He's coming back. He's totally coming back, right?" Williams said in an interview with E! News. "I'm like, "I don't think so. I'm very sorry!' I don't know, maybe he wanted to keep the hair in the end."
Harington was recently spotted with his Jon Snow hair, which further caused buzz among fans that the actor is not yet done with the series.
"We saw him get stabbed like five times in the chest," Williams said, reminding fans of how Jon met his untimely death. "I think he's gone. I mean, I could be wrong, but I really don't think so. And people are like, "He's going to come back as White Walker!' I'm like, 'Really, we'd bring back Jon Snow as a White Walker?!'
When asked about the role of Melisandre (Carice Van Houten) in possibly bringing back the former Night's Watch Lord Commander, Williams is not entirely convinced.
In the season five finale, the Red Woman arrived at Castle Black only hours before Jon's death, hence the speculation that she might be able to use her own supernatural abilities to bring him back to life.
"I feel like she's far too selfish for all of that," Williams said of the theory.
Aside from Jon's controversial death, the young actress also opened about her own character losing her sight, which will "impede her life" and make her "vulnerable."
Williams also mentioned that she would also want Arya to improve on her training, which could possibly happen in the upcoming season as the character's blindness is actually told in George R.R. Martin's book series "A Song of Ice and Fire' and is a crucial part of her training.
However, what remains unclear is whether such condition is temporary or permanent.
Regardless of the unavoidable consequences of Arya's blindness, the British actress said that she does not want to see Lord Eddard Stark's younger daughter falter.
"She's really struggled because of her blindness now, but I don't want her to change her character," Williams said in an interview with Parade when asked how she would want to see Arya to turn out in the sixth season. "She should stay strong and stay that badass character that people have grown to love."
