Everybody has heard of production horror stories wherein stars squabble with each other and cast and crew members simply walk out of the set in frustration. But as far as Ryan Murphy's "Scream Queens" is concerned, filming the series has been perfectly "dreamy" for everybody concerned, and they have Jamie Lee Curtis to thank for that.
The 56-year-old actress served as everybody's den mother while on set, and her co-stars cannot help but sing her praises.
"She's amazing," Emma Roberts, who plays the ruthless sorority leader Chanel Oberlin in the series told PEOPLE. "She brought us gifts, all these little parasols, and she brought me some books."
"I want to be next to her more," the 24-year-old actress added. "We're so needy!"
"Glee" star Lea Michele, 28 could not agree more with what Roberts said. In "Scream Queens" the gorgeous songstress slash actress had to undergo a make-under and sport awkward hair and braces to play Hester "Neckbrace," a girl with scoliosis.
"She's the main structure that just keeps everything together," she said about Curtis. "She's like our protector, and I really love that."
Their co-stars include Keke Palmer who plays the genius Zayday Williams, Abigail Breslin who plays Chanel #5, Ariana Grande who plays Chanel #2, and Billie Lourd who plays Chanel #3.
The series follows the lives of these girls from Kappa Kappa Tao and their sorority mother Dean Cathy Munsch, who is played by Curtis.
Breslin cannot help but gush about Curtis' thoughtfulness as well. "She gave us green juices during the day, like, 'Drink this,'" the 19-year-old actress shared. "She's always giving us little gifts and writing us little notes in our trailer. She's just like, the coolest human."
Curtis began her career in acting with John Carpenter's 1978 horror flick "Halloween," which she starred in as Laurie Strode. The movie was such a big hit that she reprised her role in its sequel "Halloween II," and even starred in other horror films such as "The Fog," "Prom Night Terror Train," and "Roadgames."
She was so good in the genre that she earned the status of "scream queen."
However, Curtis was also pretty good in action and comedy, and she appeared in "Trading Places," the movie that earned her a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, "A Fish Called Wanda," and "True Lies," which earned her a Golden Globe for Best Actress in Musical or Comedy.
