An online shopping site has listed all of the OnePlus 2's specs.
Based on the listed information, the 2 sports significantly better features than its predecessor.
Details of the upcoming flagship device were revealed through the online store of Oppo, OnePlus's hardware manufacturer.
According to Oppomart's listing, the OnePlus 2 features a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. For its camera configurations, the device packs a 16-megapixel rear camera equipped with Sony's Exmor IMX 234 sensor. On the front side, the 2 houses a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.
Like what was previously revealed by OnePlus, the handset is powered by the v2.1 Snapdragon 810 processor from Qualcomm. According to the company, it worked closely with the chip maker to ensure that this version of the processor does not cause overheating problems for its next flagship device.
The smartphone packs 4GB of RAM and comes in two storage-based variants. One has 16GB of internal storage while the other model has 64GB.
As for its other features, Oppomart noted that the 2 is equipped with a fingerprint reader and has dual SIM support. It comes with the stock Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Oxygen OS and runs on a 3300 mAh battery.
According to Oppomart, the 2 comes in white and black color variants.
As for its price, the site is selling the flagship handset for $499. However, the site did not indicate if this price is for the 16GB version or the larger 64GB model.
Currently, the 2 listed in Oppomart is labeled as out of stock. This is probably because OnePlus has not yet officially unveiled its next flagship device, which is scheduled to take place on July 27.
For the event, OnePlus will launch the 2 through a special virtual reality presentation. Supporters of the company can watch and even participate in the event using the company's own virtual reality headsets dubbed as OnePlus Cardboards.
But aside from the 2, an executive from OnePlus teased that the company is also preparing to launch another handset before this year ends.
In an interview with Romanian news paper Adevarul via GSM Dome, company co-founder Pete Lau was asked if the company plans to launch a mid-range handset in the future.
The executive answered that another smartphone model is currently in the works and its details will be released soon. He also noted that OnePlus is targeting to release this new device sometime this year.
