Evan Peters really wowed audiences during his first stint as Quicksilver in "X-Men: Days of Future Past," wherein he helped Professor Charles Xavier and Wolverine get Magneto out from his high-security prison at the Pentagon.

The escape plan was going on smoothly until they were confronted by several guards with guns pointed at them. Professor X and Wolverine already had huge scowls on their faces and were preparing to fight, but Quicksilver did not even break a sweat. Instead, he put on his headphones and rushed around in the room, altering the guards' movements and gun placements in such a way that they beat themselves up and shot at nowhere.

It was one of the coolest scenes from the movie, and fans cannot help but rave about it. But during an interview with MTV, Peters even teased that his next action sequence in "X-Men: Apocalypse" will be even more spectacular.

"Well, yeah, it's always difficult to try to top something like that," he told them over the phone. "The special effects guys, man, they absolutely nailed that and did a fantastic job on it. This year we're working on something that's bigger and better, keeping the same elements that worked, then adding a few new ones. I'm really excited to see it all cut together, and I'm excited for people to see it, too. I think it's going to be a really fun sequence in what is going to be a massive X-Men movie. The scope of it - with the end of the world and Apocalypse coming - is going to be a very large, epic 'X-Men' film."

Peters is also thrilled with the upcoming "X-Men" movie because he got to work with even more mutants this time, including Jennifer Lawrence's transforming blue mutant Mystique.

"She's great. All the cast is great," Peters said. "Everybody on set is just so nice, and so friendly and welcoming. We're all this big family that's stuck on this ginormous ship that is sailing slowly along. So I think everybody is incredibly nice, I'll tell you that much."

Aside from the previous cast members such as James McAvoy as Professor X, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and Nicholas Hoult as the Beast, among many others, the new "X-Men: Apocalypse" will also feature new versions of the original X-Men including Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), and Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee).

The movie is directed by Bryan Singer and will be released on May 27, 2016.
