The manual for the unreleased Xperia C5 Ultra has been leaked and confirms some of the specs of the upcoming handset.
Aside from its features, the device's user guide also shows off the external design of Sony's smartphone.
According to the Xperia Blog, which was able to obtain the manual, the Xperia C5 Ultra, with model number E5506 / E5553, the front side of the handset sports a bezel-free design, which provides a wide edge-to-edge appearance for the display. This coincides with previously leaked images of the smartphone, which back then was codenamed as the Sony Xperia Lavender.
The user guide also confirmed that the Xperia C5 Ultra features a 13-megapixel front camera and 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of native memory which can be expanded since according to the manual, the device has a microSD card slot.
As for its other features, illustrations of the device indicate that the volume control, located on the left side, also functions as a zoom button for the handset's camera. This is located directly above the dedicated camera button.
The device's USB port, which can be used to charge the handset, is located on the bottom panel of the handset, beside the main microphone.
The slots for the Nano SIM and memory cards can be accessed by opening the moveable panel on the device's right side.
The Xperia C5 Ultra's manual, however, did not mention the other details of the device such as its front-facing camera configuration. But, previous rumors suggested that the selfie snapper will have a 13-megapixel sensor as well as a front-facing flash.
Also, various sources expect the Xperia C5 Ultra to come with a 5.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080p. It will also reportedly be powered by the MT6752 Processor from MediaTek. For its front camera, rumors indicate that Sony will equip its upcoming device with a 5-megapixel shooter.
Sony has not yet announced the exact launch date for the Xperia C5 Ultra. But since its user manual has already been leaked, Sony might unveil it soon. The company might even use the upcoming IFA event happening in September as the prime venue for the official launch of the device, Techno Buffalo reported.
However, for now, Sony has not yet issued a statement addressing some of the rumored details of the Xperia C5 Ultra. There are also no news yet regarding the handset's regional availability or how much it will cost once it hits stores.
