Development company Turn 10 Studios announced that the upcoming "Forza Motorsport 6" game will feature a new system that will rank players according to their skill and driving style.
The mode, called League, will be used for the game to organize multiplayer matches, IGN reported.
According to Dan Greenawalt, the creative director for the studio, the League system will divide players of its 24-multiplayer race according to their ranks. Of course, players can level up by improving their driving styles and completing achievements.
In addition the skills, the League system will also track players' temperament in order to avoid pitting clean drivers with those who tend to crash into opponents in order to gain the lead.
For Greenawalt, the League system is the studio's way of bringing together like-minded "Forza Motorsport" players. By racing against other people who share the same skill level and driving discipline, players will be able to enjoy fair yet challenging matches.
"What makes the multiplayer group distinct is that they're not necessarily looking to win," he told IGN. "What they want is that perfect race, against people that are like them, that are the same skill level and are as rough or as clean as they are, that speak the same language."
"People they can socialize with," he added. "Leagues help us accomplish exactly what they're looking for. When we first announced 24-car multiplayer, a lot of our fans got really excited. And it's because you picture in your head that perfect race; that amazing race."
But Greenawalt noted that the League system will not be available all the time. Instead, it can only be accessed during specific times of the day to ensure that it has enough players to fill the multiplayer racing matches.
"Forza Motorsport 6" is scheduled to come out for the North American market on September 15. It will be exclusively available to Microsoft's Xbox One console.
Last week, the studio unveiled 36 new cars that will be included in the upcoming game's roster of over 450 vehicles. The new batch, which heavily features American muscle cars from different generations, also includes the Batmobile-looking 2014 BAC Mono, according to Gamerant.
As for the other vehicles, these include the 1970 Dodge Charger Eliminator, 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport 396 and the 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM GTA.
Aside from muscle cars, the lost also features Japanese import cars from Honda, Toyota and Nissan.
