Jessa Duggar has been gracing the headlines for her pregnancy updates but the former '19 Kids and Counting' star recently surprised her followers by sharing a cryptic post that points out the possibility of her having twins.
According to In Touch Weekly, Jessa recently took to Instagram and shared a post which seemingly dropped hints that she and husband Ben Seewald could be expecting twins.
The 22-year-old reality star is approximately in her 29th week of pregnancy with her first child, and has been regularly providing baby bump photo updates with her social media followers on an almost-weekly basis. However, she and her 20-year-old husband have kept mum about their baby's gender.
In the post below, the mother-to-be calls out to her fans to check out the Seewald Family website to cast their votes on what they think her baby's gender will be.
This is also not the first time that she opened up about multiples. In their birth announcement video, the partners also joked about coming up with smoothies for more than one kid.
As pointed out by E! News, Ben also opened up about the gender issue, saying that "it could be both" after his wife asked him if he thought they were having a boy or girl.
On the contrary, Jessa already revealed in April that "Baby Seewald" is "this little person," as shown in an ultrasound clip that evidently showed only a single fetus.
Amidst the confusing messages on possibly having twins, Duggar matriarch Michelle revealed to KGUN's The Morning Blend that she only mentioned the likelihood of multiples when Jessa told her clan that she was expecting.
It seems that Jessa took a liking to the suggestion and has been making use of the twin tease to keep her followers in anticipation from the time that she announced her pregnancy.
"I think maybe Mom, Grandma here, started that rumor," Michelle said. "I said to Jessa when she let us know that they were expecting, we were so thrilled. I said, "Who knows, Jess? You may have twins!'"
Recently, the couple had spent some time in New York City as Jessa shared a photo where she posed in front of the Staten Island Ferry terminal with Ben.
Jessa also tweeted a photo from aboard the ship and jokingly said that she has already reached "that point in your pregnancy where your belly button start to act like a pop-up turkey timer!"
The Arkansas-based reality star is expected to give birth on Nov. 1, her one-year wedding anniversary with Ben.
