Lucy Liu is a first-time mom now.
She posted a cute black-and-white picture of herself holding her newborn son on Instagram, with the caption:
"Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu. In [love]!"
The 46-years-old Charlie's Angels star became the mother of a baby boy through a surrogate. This was confirmed by her representative who told the US Weekly, "I can confirm that Lucy Liu is the proud mother of Rockwell Lloyd Liu, brought into the world via gestational carrier. Mom and baby are healthy and happy."

She is known to refrain from revealing her personal life to the world, and did not give any earlier indication that her baby was on the way. In 2014, she was linked with billionaire Noam Gottesman, while in more distant past was associated with Will McCormack and Zach Helm.
Liu has helped children around the world through UNICEF since 1994. Born of Chinese immigrant parents, she was aware of all she had, which others did not have and wanted to provide for others.
Speaking of her parents, she told the People magazine, "I felt like they really gave me an appreciation for the care and love we had."
Other famous celebrities to have had babies via surrogate are Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Mathew Broderick, Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban, and Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy Juvonen.
