Amy Duggar, who now goes by the name Mrs. Dillon King is already enjoying her "lavish" honeymoon with her husband King in Cancun, Mexico.
According to PEOPLE, Amy has shared several pictures on her social media account of their journey as Mr. and Mrs. to their romantic resort getaway in Cancun, after enjoying a large country wedding in Arkansas.
"Bye Bye America," Amy captioned a picture of her and King on Wednesday. The newlyweds had on huge smiles on their faces.
"We're excited," Amy gushed. "We're going someplace tropical. We're just going to spend time as husband and wife. And it's so crazy to say that!"
Amy is so excited for their honeymoon that she even painted her toenails with tropical palm trees for her recent wedding. The young bride feels grateful that they have been blessed with enough funds to enjoy their honeymoon, and she thanks King for that.
"Thankfully we can afford this lavish honeymoon," she said of her new husband's generous gift. "That's another gift he gave us as a couple and we're so excited to get away from everyone and turn our phones off and just enjoy being under a palm tree with a drink in our hand."
But before they switch off from the world, King managed to share another happy couple shot. "Made it to Mexico," Dillon captioned it.
Of course, the two kept in close contact with their parents even while enjoying the honeymoon, and Amy told her parents that the view isn't the only thing they are enjoying in Cancun.
"She said they're on the top floor of their resort and it's beautiful," Amy's dad Terry Jordan shared. "She told me they'd just had some ribs that were falling off the bone!"
Amy's wedding was indeed a joyous occasion for the Duggar family, who are currently weighed down because of Josh's Ashley Madison scandal. His earlier scandal, which concerned his child molestation raps when he was only 14 years old prompted the TLC network to cancel their family's reality show "19 Kids and Counting."
Back then, the Duggars rallied behind Josh, saying that the molestation accusations were a thing of the past, and Josh has sought help for it, while his victims, including his own sisters Jill and Jessa have already forgiven him.
However, when they learned that Josh cheated on his wife Anna using the website Ashley Madison, the Duggars were heartbroken and has sent Josh to the faith-based rehab facility Reformers Unanimous.
