Evan Peters' Quicksilver did but a couple of scenes for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," but his short sequence was both so wonderful and unforgettable that fans are eager to see more of him in the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" film.
When the actor was asked by Details if Bryan Singer's "Apocalypse" film will be the best "X-Men" film yet, he enthusiastically affirmed that it will be.
"Absolutely. It's the biggest X-Men film. It's about the apocalypse, so the scope of the film is huge," he said.
Peters was teased that "Apocalypse" might have something to do with a zombie uprising, but the actor laughingly said that the mutants will be dealing with something else entirely.
"Ha! No, it's not. Although that would be amazing if Apocalypse (the evil mutant) brought back the dead to help him take over the earth. I love zombies; I can't get enough," he said. "But the story is that my character is searching for his father and wants to find him. It starts there and then he jumps on the X-Men train and gets sucked up in this whole Apocalypse madness: He tries to stop him from destroying the world."
As for his personal life, Peters said that he was able to resist the glitz and glamor of Hollywood (despite being a teenage actor) because he has a strong family background.
"My mom came out with me, number one. And my mom is a very strong-willed person who would not allow any (expletive) to be happening. Also, I lived in Burbank," he shared.
The actor might not have any problems with fame and a wild lifestyle, but he does struggle with being a "fatty" with slow metabolism.
"Food: I love it so much. I am a foodie. I like the different tastes. Even though I am full, I still want to eat because it tastes so good. It has always been a battle and it probably always will be," he revealed. "That is why I want to be a director: So I can eat whatever I want. But we will see. It's tough. One of the hardest things about acting is having to work out and eat right."
People are also curious about his relationship with fellow star Emma Roberts. The two have previously been engaged until they called things off then got back together. When asked about their current status, Peters stammered: "Uh, I mean, don't know. I can't. No. I don't know. I would rather not answer that. We are trying to keep everything private, you know, to ourselves. It's our own business. Everyone else can figure it out when they figure it out."
