There has been a lot of buzz about the Harry Potter spinoff "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" especially since the studio has just released new photos of the film and its stars.

Now, Entertainment Weekly is sharing some interesting little known details about the movie - such as the fact that there are four lead stars and not just one.

Everybody already knows that the movie will be all about magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and his search for magical creatures. But in truth, the movie will focus on four main characters - aside from Newt, the spotlight will also be on Tina (Katherine Waterston), Queenie (Alison Sudol), and Jacob (Dan Fogler).

"The assumption is Newt's front and center, but it's a quartet," Redmayne said. "So that feels like it slightly takes the (pressure) off. At least, that's what I'm telling myself."

In the "Harry Potter" series, muggles (or at least the Dursleys) were extremely terrified of wizards, but in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," it would be the other way around.

Muggles, known in the American wizarding world as No-Maj have gotten witches and wizards shaking under their pointed hats because of witch persecution, and this is why they keep their magic on the down low.

The Salem witch trials are a terrifying point in witches' history, and in the film, there would even be a new group called New Salem Philanthropic Society (a.k.a. the Second Salemers) led by Mary Lou (Samantha Morton) that is doing everything in its power to expose the wizarding community.

"Harry Potter" might have had the Ministry of Magic, but in the wizarding world of America, there is a Magical Congress led by a wizarding president. They hold office inside the Woolworth Building.

And finally, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" might be set in 1926 New York, but it will actually be more modern than the "Harry Potter" films, which was first released in 2001.

As strange as it might sound, production designer Stuart Craig explains that the Harry Potter spinoff feels more modern because it is set in a large and bustling city, as opposed to the "Harry Potter" films, which were set in a 1,100 year old Scottish castle.

"So funny enough, the period movie has a greater sense of (modernity) than the modern movie that's medieval in style," Craig said.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will be released on November 18, 2016.
