When they were filming "The Curse of the Black Pearl," former Disney CEO Michael Eisner got so upset with his portrayal that he demanded to get Depp fired.

"It trickled back to me that Michael Eisner went on some sort of bent about how, '(Expletive), Johnny Depp's ruining the film! Is it drunk? Is it gay?' And so I fully expected to be fired, and I got a call from the upper echelon at Disney who were courageous enough to ask me, 'What the (expletive) are you doing?' And again, the questions came up, 'Is it drunk? Is it gay?'" Depp shared with The Playlist.

He jokingly replied that all of his characters are gay, and in the end, Depp was grateful that he got to keep the role.

"I really expected to be fired, but I wasn't for some reason. They were actually gonna put subtitles under my character, they couldn't understand Captain Jack," he said.

That was not the only incident that made Depp feel unsure about his acting skills. Prior to that, the "Black Mass" star actually auditioned for a role in a Joel and Ethan Coen film.

The Coen brothers are the geniuses behind the films "Fargo," "The Big Lebowski," and "No Country for Old Men." Because of his botched audition, Depp is pretty sure that he will never be a part of a Coen brothers film, "not if they have any memory of that audition," he said.

Depp has confessed that he is horrible with auditions, but that particular audition was something that he could not forget.

"It was mortifying," Depp said. "This was years ago, I was a big fan of the Coen brothers and I was asked to go and audition for something or another...I can only imagine the choices I must have made in the audition, but what I do remember very, very well was how loud the silence was after I finished whatever I had done. Between the three of us, it was sort of like, 'How do I get out of this (expletive) room?' And they're thinking, 'How do we get him out of this (expletive) room?'"

It was so awkward that they stammered with their goodbyes. "Alright, so...yeah! Cool! OK, good...Alright..." the casting crew said, while Depp stammered back, "Well, good then. Uhh, thanks."
