Thanksgiving's Black Friday sale may already be over but discounts and deals for the gaming community are still pouring in.
Just recently, major consumer electronics retailer Best Buy unveiled a new promo that will give away one free game to consumers if they buy two titles for the Xbox One or PlayStation 4.
As reported by Gamespot, the deal applies to selected Xbox One and PlayStation 4 currently being sold by Best Buy. For every two games that customers purchase, either both for the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 or one for each console, they will get a free title. They'll also have the option to choose which free game they would like to get and for what console.
According to a listing on Best Buy's official online store, some of the titles covered by the promo include "Star Wars Battlefront," "Fallout 4," "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," "Halo 5: Guardians," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "Forza Motorsport 6," "Just Cause 3 - Day One Edition," "NBA 2K16," "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" and the recently released "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege."
The retailer noted that the current deal only applies for certain games and does not cover pre-orders, pre-owned, digital deluxe and gold and collector's editions.
Best Buy's latest promo officially began on December 6 and will conclude on the 12th.
Aside from Best Buy, Sony is also offering its own promos for PlayStation platform owners. On Sunday, the company officially slashed the price of its PlayStation 4 bundle for "Star Wars Battlefront" and "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection by $50. Originally priced at $349.99 each, these bundles can now be purchased for only $299.99, according to an update on the PlayStation Blog.
Apart from the games, each bundle also comes with a black-colored PlayStation 4 console with 500GB of storage and one DualShock 4 controller. In addition, those who purchase the "Uncharted" bundle are also entitled to receive special access for the multiplayer beta of "Uncharted 4" currently happening now until December 13.
As for those who prefer the "Battlefront" package, they will receive discount voucher for "Super Star Wars, "Star Wars: Racer Revenge," "Star Wars Bounty Hunter" and "Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter." Although these were originally designed for older consoles, customers will still be able to play them on their PlayStation 4 systems through its emulation feature.
Sony's current promo also began on December 6 and will run until the 19th.
