There was a special gathering for Korean organization leaders on February 8th at the Los Coyotes Country Club. The participants of this event came together for a time of intercessory prayer and worship to bring God's blessings to the Korean and Korean American community in Orange County. The event was hosted by Orange County's Council of Korean Churches in Southern California.
The gathering began with service, followed by a special testimony and banquet. Pastor Yongduk Park was selected to lead the whole process and praise and worship was led by Nachimban Church's praise team. The theme verse for this day was Proverbs 30:24 to 28. Pastor Kyung-yup Min, who gave message, emphasized the importance of cooperation. He stated that, "While individually we may weak, when small strengths gather we can accomplish great things."
After a time of intercessory prayer for all the organizations of OC to unite and develop for God's glory, a special testimony was presented by Young Kim, who is a candidate for a member of the House of Representatives. Her main focus was the power of prayer that she had experienced in her own life. She talked about how she grew up watching her mother raise money to build a church through gathering and selling tin cans.
Kim ended with asking for prayer for God to allow her to enter the House of Representatives, though she also shared that whatever outcome will be according to His will.
