Darlene Zschech
Darlene Zschech, the well-known singer-song writer, and praise leader for Hilsong Church in Sydney, Australia, posted on her blog that she has completed the first out of five stages of chemo for breast cancer.
Zschech was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of December last year. However, she shared that she has already experienced two miracles through her body and expressed no kind of fear or anxiety whatsoever. On the contrary, she wrote that she feels freer in her current state with her husband and daughters for company.
Zschech had served as worship pastor at Hilsong Church in Sydney for more than 10 years, before co-pastoring Hope Unlimited Church with her husband Mark. She has been carefully recording her journey of fighting her sickness, and in the meantime even wrote new songs which she said she will be sharing very soon.
