The marriage of Ben Seewald and Jessa Duggar of "19 Kids and Counting" fame is one of the most widely admired relationships as the couple work together closely to improve their lives. Earlier this year, the second daughter of Jim Bob Duggar to wed after Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard announced that she is pregnant with her first child with Ben. Josh Duggar's sister is expected to give birth by the time her and Ben's first year anniversary comes in November.

As the birth month of Jessa's first child draws nearer, a lot of fans and followers of "19 Kids and Counting" recall her love story with husband Ben. In a report by Fashion and Style, it was revealed that Jessa's then suitor worked really hard and seized all possible opportunities in an effort to earn what his friends used to dub as "Duggar money." Citing the blog entry of Ben which chronicled how he courted the second Duggar daughter, the soon to be dad revealed just how smitten he was back then.

Admitting that he was "wild" about Jim Bob Duggar's daughter, Ben went on to reveal that he attempted to play it cool when he first met Jessa - asking only one question throughout the time they spent together and feigning nonchalance over her presence in the vicinity. When the "19 Kids and Family" invited the Seewald clan to a conference days following their first meeting at a mini camp in Northwest Arkansas, Ben immediately badgered his parents to guarantee their attendance and even went as far as volunteering to pay the gas money for the trip.

According to Ben, the said conference gave him the opportunity to further bond with the rest of the "19 Kids and Counting" kids. In fact, he even took pains to make a good impression on Duggar patriarch, Jim Bob. While his first opportunity to speak with Jessa's dad proved to be disastrous due to cramps, the eldest Seewald boy did not let the initial meeting deter him from achieving his goal - that is, to impress Jim Bob and hopefully, win the heart of Jessa.

When Jim Bob and wife Michelle Duggar noticed just how determined Ben was to be with their daughter, the "19 Kids and Counting" parents decided to hire him to help around the compound.

"Ben was living four hours away in Hot Springs with his parents," recalled Jim Bob, according to PEOPLE. He added, "After Michelle and I were talking about it, we have so many projects to do that we need help for - everything from construction projects to keeping the grass mowed to putting roof on a building, paperwork and things like that - and we asked him if he would be interested in moving up here so that Jessa and his relationship could be really accelerated. He was all for it and his parents were happy about it."

As seen today, Ben clearly succeeded in his courtship with the "19 Kids and Counting" star.
