Almost a month after Jill Duggar-Dillard, her husband Derick, and their little tot Israel David said their goodbye to their family for a special missionary trip, the family is seemingly doing well on their ministry venture El Salvador.
As the couple continues to share updates about their way of living in Central America, the Dillard family are evidently adopting a steady routine and lifestyle in their new home.
The former '19 Kids and Counting' stars also showed special photos posted on their website to fans to give them a glimpse of their day-to-day life.
In the images, the couple can be seen working with other missionaries on community projects, such as building a basketball court. Meanwhile, the locals can be seen carrying and playing with baby Israel.
Last month, Derick took to their blog and shared about how his little one had instantly become a favorite among the community members.
"Israel seems to be adjusting to the new climate, culture, food (via mom's milk), and language faster than Jill and I are," Derick shared in a blog post. "In fact, he has been the talk of the town. Everywhere we go, people [hear] about and want to see and hold the 'big blue-eyed, white baby' LOL."
In addition, the pair also shared about being able to update their family about their overseas ministry trip, stating: "Israel is definitely growing and developing fast. It has also been wonderful to make contact and talk briefly with family back in the US to share updates."
The Dillards made a formal announcement of their mission trip in a blog post last June 26. In July, the Duggar family shared a special video, showing the clan as they say goodbye to Jill, Derick and baby Israel. Josh, who had been expecting his fourth child with wife Anna, was absent.
Nonetheless, the family announced the arrival of baby Meredith Grace on their official Facebook page by posting a number of photos of her and her parents. "She's here! Meredith Grace Duggar: 7lbs 14ozs, 20-1/2" long. Anna and baby Meredith are resting and doing well"”thanks for all of your prayers! We will try to post more photos as soon as possible!" the family said.
As "19 Kids and Counting' was cancelled following news of Josh's molestation scandal, TLC announced its plans of raising awareness on child sexual abuse by airing a one-hour documentary set to air late this month. The Duggar family will reportedly be involved in such project.
