Disney's Frozen, is probably the movie that a great many movie fans were wishing to see for the longest time now. Nowadays, if one were to approach a friend and ask. "Do you wanna build a snowman?" they would either sing the whole song together or feel sad that he had not seen the movie yet. Besides the story or the songs that had made the movie so popular, the core of Frozen or any Disney movie's success is that it is essentially centered around Christian beliefs.
From a Christian perspective, the film draws on the life of a sinner in a sinful world and the eventual salvation. The story (spoiler alert) features a young Queen Elsa, who has powers to control ice and freeze anything at will. Unable to control abilities, Elsa ends up hurting her sister Anna, and runs away into the mountains where she builds herself a colossal ice palace. As she does this she sings the song now extremely popular Let It Go. Often times we tend to try to think positively about our sins or try to shut ourselves away from others. However, Elsa ends up being captured by her people.
Anna, Elsa's sister gets completely frozen by the queen while trying to save her life. She is essentially dead, but after a cry from Elsa, Anna comes back to life, restoring the frozen world which Elsa had accidently thrown into eternal winter. Through Christ's death and sacrifice, all sinners and the entire world were given eternal life.
Disney was popular among parents with younger children for its essentially Christian values which moved people's hearts. Frozen was not the only one that followed this paradigm. While other films like The Lion King are based off of the journey of Christ, others like Pixar's Wall-E are based off other Biblical inspirations such as the Noah's Ark story.
Recently, however, Disney has gone through a transition, featuring more liberal ideas through their productions such as the TV show, Good Luck Charlie.
