With the release of "Batman: Arkham Knight" only a couple of months away, tech firm Nvidia unveiled the system requirements for the PC version of the game.
According to the company, the game can be played using three different system set-ups: minimum, recommended and ultra.
As detailed in Nvidia's GeForce website, the three settings require the Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 OS.
For the minimum requirements, gamers are going to need a PC that's powered by the Intel Core i5-750 2.67 GHz processor or the AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz chipset and should have 6GB of RAM. Their graphics card should be the Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 with a memory size of 2GB.
The PC should also be equipped with DirectX 11 and a broadband Internet connection. Also, the game will take up 45GB of hard drive space.
If gamers want to run the game on the recommended settings, their PCs should have either the Intel Core i7-3770 3.4 Ghz or the AMD FX-83850 4.0 GHz processor and 8GB of RAM. It should also have the Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 graphics card with 3GB of memory.
Like in the minimum setup, the recommended settings require an Internet connection as well as the DirectX 11. However, for this setup, gamers need to have 55GB of available hard drive space.
For the ultra system requirements, gamers can equip their rigs with the same Intel Core or AMD processors listed in the recommended setup. Both setups also require the same hard drive space and DirectX version.
But for the graphics card, they should opt for the Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 with a memory of 4GB.
Cinema Blend pointed out that since the system requirements were listed on Nvidia's site, the AMD counterparts of the graphics cards were not mentioned.
For the minimum requirements, gamers can go for the AMD HD 7870 or R9-270X if they don't want to get the GeForce GTX 660. For the recommended and ultra settings, the AMD HD 7950 and R9-290X can be used respectively.
