The "Havoc" expansion pack for Sledgehammer Games' "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" is set to arrive for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC by the end of February.
The expansion's release on Microsoft Windows and Sony's consoles came a month after it was first launched on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
According to a new post by "Call of Duty" publisher Activision on the game's website, "Havoc" comes with four new maps for the multiplayer mode.
The Core map will take players to a deactivated nuclear fusion plant in the Gobi desert. Using the map's open areas and tunnels, players can either engage in long-range battles or close-quarters combat.
Urban map, on the other hand, takes place in the futuristic setting of Dallas Ward 3. In this close-quarters map, players can take advantage of the surrounding vertical structures using their character's exoskeleton abilities.
In the third map, Sideshow, the battles take place in a clown-themed abandoned motel or in the nearby mining facility. Lastly, in Drift map, players can utilize timed events such as avalanches to disorient their opponents roaming inside a ski resort in the Rocky Mountains.
Aside from the maps, the "Havoc" expansion packs also offers the new Exo Zombies game mode. In this co-op mode, four players can choose characters voiced by the celebrities Bill Paxton, John Malkovich, Rose McGowan and John Bernthal.
As a team, they will navigate through a secret Atlas research facility that has been taken over by a horde of genetically-altered zombies.
The "Havoc" expansion also comes with a new weapon, the AE4 directed-energy assault rifle. Or, players can use its modified version, the AE4 Widowmaker.
"Havoc" can be purchased for $15.00 or as part of the "Advanced Warfare" expansion pass for $50.00, according to Gamespot. This inclusive pass provides instant access to the four expansion packs of the game once they are made available. The release dates for the game's three remaining expansion packs, namely Ascendance, Supremacy and Reckoning are yet to be revealed.
